Contemplated a rainy morning
With warm caffeine to hold
A soulless conscience of heart.
I sipped the unknown future
That lies through my consciousness
With curiosity beyond neglect.
Though I worried on anxiety
Due to my incompetence
And emotional laziness,
I’ve had piece in my heart
That I’d overcome these transgressions
To lift my spirit of life.
